Police Harass and Beat a Man in the Street

User nov11110, who has been aggregating many of the most compelling clips from Iran, just posted another video. This one is shot by someone who seems to be on the second story of a building, and he captures a group of riot police on camera harassing and beating a young man on the street down below.

Besides, it doesn't matter who you vote... Same person keeps the power anyway.

Here are some things to consider:
Was the election fair? Polls showed the ahmedinajhad ahead. The number of demonstrators in the streets represent a larger group, as many won't openly protest, even tho they support it. When Bush as given the presidency by our Supreme Court, I didn;t see people demonstrating and making problems, ala Democratic convention 1968. Just because they think there was tampering doesn't mean there was. You can't say "vote" and then not abide by that vote. This Iranian administration doesn't seem much different than Saddam Hussein's. Ask Cheney and Bush for advice. Maybe they'd just show em some shock and awe. That would take care of that shit.

well i watched quite a lot movies since the election and this guys looks like militia to me (camouflage-uniforms).

this seems to make a difference for the iranians. as far as i can tell there are three groups acting: police, anti-riot-officials (i think this are the guys with helmet but black "police"-vest - are "anti-riot" and "revolutionary guards" the same?) and militias.

some are saying the ordinary police is quite friendly and helpful, the two latter not.

so it would be nice to use the proper names and not to call them all "police".

anyway: thugs. feeling strong in group and seem to find some kind of fun using their predominance.
