UPDATE: Nearly 1M Gallons of Oil Spilled in Michigan Creek

A broken pipe spilled an estimated 877,000 gallons of oil into Battle Creek, Michigan on Monday, making it one of the largest oil spills in the Midwest, according to the Detroit Free Press. The pipeline is reportedly owned by Enbridge Liquid Pipelines and transports oil from Indiana to Ontario. A YouTube user has recorded aerial images showing oil in the creek, which feeds into the Kalamazoo River.
