A passerby punched a North Carolina Tea Party member in the face during a rally against against financial legislation proposed by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL). The rally was held outside the office of Rep. Mel Watt (D-NC). On the home page of the North Carolina Tea Party site, the organization poses the question: "And we are the violent ones?" The organization promises to post a longer version of the video soon.

User notes: During a Rally at Mel Watt's office to protest the Durbin amendment, or Bailout, some dope had to stop by screaming. He ended up pushing a woman around and then he hits the guy in the face. We are not even certain if he was arrested.

Yeah, looks like the white guy swung first... then got clocked and THEN hid behind his wife. LOL.

Had that been my wife, that video camera would have been force-fed to the "counterprotester" as a means for an involuntary colonoscopy.

He pushed the guy and tried to use his wife as a human shield. Congrats to the couterprotestor for having the skill to get around the wife to clock the cowardly loser.

I've watched the full version, released by the TeaBag Girly man who got decked. The sound conveniently goes out right after his wife tells this counter protester "Shouldn't you be at work?" My guess is he edited out some racist language. Tea Party is nothing but the new KKK.
