NYC Councilman Confronts Parking Officer

A New York city councilman claims he saw a traffic cop speeding and using his flash lights in a rush to get to Dunkin Donuts, where he illegally parked. Daniel Halloran, a councilman from Queens followed traffic agent Daniel Chu to the donut shop, where he confronted him. The officer responded by giving Halloran a $165 ticket for blocking a crosswalk. Halloran posted the encounter on YouTube, and is now calling for a review of every ticket Chu has written. New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly says an investigation is underway.
