Forget quidditch. They're changing the world.

They may be Muggles, but that isn't stopping a group of Harry Potter fans, called the Harry Potter Alliance, from using their "powers" for good. According to this Newsweek article, the group isn't using broomsticks or spells to change the world -- they're using YouTube and social media to kill off real-world villains -- poverty, illiteracy, and genocide.

Says the article, "through blogs and YouTube videos, they've raised more than $15,000 in aid for Darfur and Burma and donated 14,000 books to children in need worldwide."
